About the event
Grief and Glue (virtual edition) is a FREE art based 6 week program for youth aged 10-15 who have experienced grief related to parental substance use.
Through art, storytelling, and peer connection, participants build understanding, coping tools, and a sense of community. This program recognizes that grief can include: -loss of connection -loss from death -changes at home -stigma and isolation -worry about a parent -love and complicated relationships with a parent Session 1: Welcome and Introduction Session 2: Spirit Doll making with Metis Mama Session 3: Understanding the many faces of grief Session 4: How My Grief Shows Up Session 5: Coping Session 6: Moving Forward
