You want to best support the young person in your life and reduce the potential long-term effects of stress, grief  and adversity as they grow. We do too, and would love to support you.

Starlings Caregiver Supports are aimed at supporting family caregivers (parents, grandparents, kinship caregivers and other important family members) in providing the resources, tools, and relationships that young people need to navigate their experiences, prevent future challenges, and heal from past hurts.

We offer a peer perspective. This means, all the professionals you engage with will have had lived experience with parental substance use challenges. These experiences vary and include: the stress of a parents mental health and substance use, parental criminalisation, family separation, parental loss to death, as well as the shame and worry that can come with these experiences.
