About the event
Starlings peer mentorship sessions are for youth aged 16+ and caregivers who support youth who are growing up with parental addiction. These sessions are meant to support individuals to access resources, as well as be able to share what they need with someone with lived experience and who understands. Exmaples of topics diring the sessions: finding resources on losing a parent to drugs; boundaries when caregiving; understanding a parents addiction; understanding a young persons needs; helping a parent find resources and supports and more.
