What is it?
A 6-week program for parents with current or past substance use challenges focused on understanding themselves in relationship to their teen, exploring the experiences and meaning their teen may hold, and building tools to support repair, trust, and connection.
What do you get?
• 6 weekly, 1-hour facilitated sessions (small groups)
• Optional 1:1 connection sessions with a mentor
• A virtual participant workbook
• Weekly emails with reflection activities and practical tools
• Access to resources and tools for your teen
Who is it for?
This was created for parents with current/ past substance use challenges who are looking for ways to reconnect and repair their relationship with their teen.
What this is not:
• This is not group counselling
• This is not crisis response
• This is not a space that tells you what you “should” do

Meet your Facilitator

Ashley (she/they) holds a BPA in Human Services and has experience in the social work and non-profit fields. She lives on Treaty 6 land and the North Saskathcewon Métis Region, and has ties to the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement. She is persuing her Counselling Degree and is passionate about integrating spirituality into mental health supports. She holds special interest in herbal medicine, spiritual ecology and intergenerational healing.
