When we talk about the challenges of addiction and substance use, the conversation often focuses on adults, overlooking the significant impact of these issues on children. This webinar will shed light on a traditionally neglected area, the intersection of children's rights and addiction, and speakers will highlight two realities that receive little support or attention despite their importance and complexity. First, we will address the situation of children who experience stress and stigmatization because of their parents' or guardians' substance use. These children live in an environment of stigma and silence, where there are no safe spaces to express their feelings and get the support they need. On the other hand, our speakers will try to raise awareness of the situation of children and young people struggling with substance use.
