About the event
Starlings at USAY: Healthy Connections is an introduction to Starlings youth empowering program focused on rebuilding attachment relationships. It’s focused on strengthening the skills, awareness, and confidence needed to build relationships that support youth growth, not drain it. Together, we’ll explore the biology of relationships, communication, red and green flags, and communication, and how to recognize connections that align with your values and self-worth.
We’ll also get to the root of why we choose the relationships we do. Through simple neuroscience, we’ll unpack how your brain and body act as a built-in relationship detector. Your nervous system is constantly reading the room, often before you consciously realize it. That gut feeling? That tension? That calm? Your body knows what’s up, and it works hard to protect you. All things we'll explore.
