Overview: 

Welcome to the Starlings Peer Mentorship Program, a peer 2 peer community for individuals impacted by the stress and stigma of a parent’s substance use, eager to harness their experiences for positive change. (whether that change be for themselves, their family ,community, or society as a whole).

Through our peer led program, participants are invited to connect with peers, reflect on their stories, and understand and confront systemic barriers head-on. By cultivating leadership skills and fostering a positive sense of agency and identity, we empower participants to not only identify how stigma has affected their own lives but also inspire change in how our communities understand and address the impacts of stigma on youth whose parents use substances.
